The folks commenting under my "science is being defunded" video are still calling me an idiot for not "realising" it's actually because of illegal immigrants. Lots of "I cant believe a scientist is denying the CLEAR EVIDENCE" Except their evidence is "It sure feels like that"

Genuinely appalled by some of the racist (explicit and dogwhistles) comments on my recent short about science funding cuts. Id say about 2/3rds were people agreeing with me or making reasonable critiques (even if I think theyre wrong). The other third were blaming immigrants or a secret cabal...

My favourite thing is when people start coming up with their own Theories of Magic. Like...the evidence is so limited and maths so versatile why shouldn't there be hundreds of competing theories?!?! Just keep it rigorous (as much as possible with magic) and revel in being wrong and it'll be great.
