My partner's mother & sisters refuse to respect our trans kid. She set a boundary: no access until respect. They have now buddied up with her ex to cross that boundary. There is no coming back from that, even if they start respecting the kid.

My daughter lost a tooth yesterday. My wife was traveling, so I handled tooth fairy duties. I left a $10 under her pillow, which I thought was v generous, but she woke up, saw the bill & said: "But why did the Tooth Fairy leave me $20 last time?" 😆 (I wasn't aware my wife had gone so over the top!)

NEWS: The Pentagon has announced mandatory low-testosterone screenings for male troops 30 and older, including screening for symptoms such as “reduced libido, loss of spontaneous morning erections, erectile dysfunction,” and other symptoms.

In this case, he was correct: the US kills a fuck ton of civilians everywhere it goes; if Iran had bombed a girls' school in the US, it would have immediately been recognized as terrorism, so why isn't it when the US does it? But also I still don't get why I'm supposed to care what Piker says.

Netflix has announced a new reality series titled ‘THE NEW STANFORD PRISON EXPERIMENT’. The series follows 30 participants who enter a real prison and are randomly assigned as guards or prisoners. They must see if they conform to the roles or if morality wins.

I keep seeing Enlightened Centrists™️ complain about purity tests for Dem candidates, but like...the only actual "purity" tests I've seen are "don't be pro genocide" and "do be pro human rights for *all* humans." Doesn't seem like an unreasonably high bar, imo.

Not terribly important, but canonically he was born in the early 1800s. We didn’t get socialized Healthcare until the 1960s.
