Reading Will Eisner's "Comics and Sequential Art", and this passage seems to have a corollary in the TTRPG world:

I like dinosaurs a normal amount. Radio plays, crosswords, RPGs, I do it all. Cyberrats, Gratitude, and more. https://alrine.carrd.co/

Deeply upsetting that the amount of housework does not scale linearly with the amount of teenagers
TTRPG Adventure-heads, I come to you with an ask. I want to read some adventures I could actually use at my tables, but I almost exclusively play Superman and Batman fanfic RPGs. Recommend me an adventure I could drop Literal Superman or Literal Batman into and feel like I got something out of it.
Bowling isn't the only game that should have built in handicaps you should be able to pull up gutters in bar pool
Just played perhaps the best game of racquetball of my life. Rough start, but woofed at 8-12, then held my partner at 14 for five rallies. Finally won it 15-14, running almost 2 miles.

Every time I see my nephew (almost 4), I give him a new comic. He LOVED the first one I gave him, a Spidey and His Friends. Yesterday I tried to give him one about Pooh and Tigger. He looked at it and said "I have comics at home" Buddy where do you think those came from? 😂
Been going to these for years now, always a good time for a great cause!

Every daredevil comic is like ugh I wish I could kill this terrible man, but I'm too Catholic. I better go have premarital sex with one of my girlfriends
I've been really enjoying Shrinkage, but s2e4 is so bad it makes me want to stop watching entirely. Everyone is making choices to maximize drama, even at the expense of previous character growth or traits.
i feel that a fork burrito is a testament to humanity's hubris
I wish we agreed, as a society, whether a burrito was something you picked up and ate in your hands, or something smothered and eaten with a fork. Then call the other one something else!
Grabbed a pint of milk to do some baking and it days it expires in February of 2027. I don't think that's true!
I'll never get tired of the bit "I'm the largest XYZ fan you'll meet (6'4)"
Some of my favorite playtest tools - tiny decks of cards! So handy for doing a quick dry run of journaling mechanics no matter where you are or how much table space you have.
My sister's got her PHD, which means about a week before she visits I've got to toss all the apples in the house.
This is the first year since 2019 that I have not played a new-to-me Zelda game. If I want to keep the trend going, I should probably get to Skyward Sword before long
This isn't about games but same for games. Please don't let anyone tell you you're doing creative things "wrong", including myself. You're not here to make my things, or their things, you're here to make your things. Feedback is just another perspective - believe in yourself.
When I say that you have to be leery of who critiques your art, your life will depend on it. The wrong person giving you critique will have you fighting with your own creativity, leaving you mentally unwell. Especially if you don't have enough people around you encouraging your art
We do this with Cyberrats, and it lights up my brain whenever I see it anywhere else.
Oh, man, I had forgotten this part about Dark Sun and I really want to take a moment to applaud its brilliance, because the dry bookkeeping exercise of maintaining a backup character conveys more tone (“this game will be deadly”) than a dozen pieces of grimdark art.
Got a notice that the county fire Marshall is issuing a burn ban starting at midnight tonight, so naturally two of my neighbors are having big bonfires tonight
Light bulb in my room flickers only when I'm not looking directly at it.
The kids are no longer awed by everyday minor miracles, like a voiced video game calling you by your name. This was a selling point of Fallout 4! The Forza games would read your name off your profile!
OK, might have to do this one, though I have the layout/design bug so this is going to be difficult!
itch.io/jam/minimali... Starts in a month, ends in 3.
My local comic shop up and moved to Illinois like 3 days after I last visited. What the heck!
I didn't know you could send updates to followers on a Kickstarter project before it launches, but the Masks 2nd edition dev diaries have been pretty neat, and you can quote me on that
In season 2 episode 2 of shrinkage, Gaby reveals that she can hold her pee for 48 hours, but in season 1 her needing to pee in the morning is how she discovers Paul is dating his doctor. CONSPIRACY!
One of the worst things I experience with any regularity is a burst tea bag, and that's how I know my life is pretty dang good
If income tax was less visible to the employee, a significant percent of libertarians would disappear overnight.
