Another Summer Literary Picnics season is in the books! 🏡☀️ Last night, Beth Armstrong and Rebecca Rose capped off the summer with an engaging talk about animals and what we humans can do to help them. 🦓🐅🐢🐘 Thanks to everyone who enjoyed our five picnics on the lawn this season! ♥️

Happy Father's Day! ❤️ Here are Mame & Charles Thurber, James Thurber's parents. Charles was a civil clerk who loved baseball, puzzles, & riddles. He was an expert bowler. 🎳 Charles features in the story "The Night the Bed Fell" (among many others). He's buried in #Columbus's Green Lawn Cemetery.
