In June, #Columbus #poet Tomás Miriti Pacheco passed away at the age of 24. We remember him today with a #poem published in our 2019 edition of Flip the Page, when he was a student at Columbus Alternative High School. Happy Father's Day! ❤️ Here are Mame & Charles Thurber, James Thurber's parents. Charles was a civil clerk who loved baseball, puzzles, & riddles. He was an expert bowler. 🎳 Charles features in the story "The Night the Bed Fell" (among many others). He's buried in #Columbus's Green Lawn Cemetery.
