What a bummer. I plan to use this Intel Mac for as long as possible, and brew has been a part of my Mac journey for as long as I have owned one. Sad to see that they're ending support for it.

VRR allows the display to dynamically adjust its refresh rate. This helps keep movement smooth when the game's FPS is fluctuating.
