New mystery novel THE DARKER THE NIGHT out 7/7 from Rowan Prose! Bestselling author. Mustang Award winner and four-time finalist. Two-time Derringer nominee.
Reading, but I don't think I'll finish it. The blurb sounded cool, but the prose is atrocious.
CRYSTAL LAKE is a good show, but I'm not gonna consider it canon.
I forgot about the Cenobite episode of SpongeBob.

Reading This is not the best Colby. It starts off fairly strong, then meanders and is padded out with POV chapters for secondary characters that add little. As Colby was primarily a short story writer, I strongly suspect this was a story hos agent asked him to expand.
Reading It is DENSE as all get-out, even more so than DARK DRUMS. It's as if, when not writing about JDs, Brown felt he had to prove he was a Serious Writer.
LALA LAND? Hollywood's full of demons. Like this taste? Check out the full story: bit.ly/3XZ9ONq #darkfiction Big thanks to Punk Noir Magazine and @kirstynpetras.bsky.social for pubbing!

Reading It's not as bad as the final Parker, but it's far from peak Dortmunder.
Anyone ever notice how John Oates is basically a soft rock William Murderface?
