I've noticed that russians are way more sensitive to changes in their quality of life than horrors their country inflicting on others. Internet outages, slow down of goods delivery and fuel shortages makes the war visible to them and breaks the idea that war could just pass by without consequences

A fire broke out after an attack at the Sasta machine-tool plant, which is also the site of a Yandex data center, in Sasovo, Russia’s Ryazan region. It is reported that the Yandex data center suffered a major outage.

so if it fucks up and creates a massive memory leak because it can't plan ahead like you need to be able to when you code, if you want to fix that- you have no idea where it happened, how it happened, or how to fix it, because you didn't write any of it, and so to fix things? you just re-prompt it

I wonder what political tendencies elves would have. Would be they be more politically conscious, long term thinking and environmentalist? Gods in fantasy fiction should be either tied to a specific region and culture or be completely alien incomprehensible concepts that every culture crudely adapts for worship. It's weird that many settings have something like a greek looking god that is worshiped under one name across multiverse

I'm listening to the ost from The Blood of Dawnwalker right now. I was pleasantly surprised that this music has so much personality in it. I was expecting some properly beautiful fantasy slop but it has it's own distinct enough sound. Gonna steal it for my TTRPG sessions. I recommend

I was working in the design company with strong "client always right" approach. I was asked to make the ugliest shit imaginable on a regular basis. I feel like ai fulfills this role that shouldn't exist in the first place. Some people should be told NO often for their own sake.

Every AI generated event poster is incredibly ugly, but I do think it's interesting that that LLMs have essentially created a house style for flyers, especially one so maximalist and ugly and in contravention of of all convention and best practices established in graphic design over centuries.
