Can we please return to precedented times? I wish to be bored again by the news.

You want to weigh 10 fruit flies that are in a covered vessel of known weight. You weigh the vessel, but a fly takes off. Does that flying fly’s weight no loner register? If you take the cover off and a fly flies out, when does it no longer register on the scale? You are welcome.
