Pelicans, Saints, Astros. Taiwan denizen

Working through my fundraiser paintings and the request here was “paint my two dogs looking happy sitting behind Ben Roethlisberger after he threw an interception”

Asked #Saints DB Jayden Price about some of the nicknames he’s gotten recently. He likes the “Winter Soldier “ one that came from social media. He gets “White Chocolate” the most in the locker room. Chase Young calls Price “8 Mile.”

@ericmigi.com are there any plans to support the whisper model for on phone transcription processing? i tried the parakeet model with the round and i thought it was really bad. i don't know if that's an issue with the microphone or not but it's unusable.

i’ve made a decision - our entire enterprise stack is now mcp servers. finance? mcp server. hr complaints? mcp server. mgmt board? mcp server we don’t have business processes anymore, the agents figure those out. my boss tried to intervene last tuesday. the orchestration layer routed around him.

went to a job interview today. interviewer: do you have experience with ai? me: gpt wrote my resume, why? interviewer: dunno, gpt wrote these questions. neither of us says anything for about ten seconds. we are two puppets and the same robot is pulling both sets of strings.

@ericmigi.com I know this is a long shot but do you think you could work with your silicon strap providers to sell an accessory bumper to go on the outside of the watches to help protect against bumps. My caselogic has saved my Pixel watch from countless scrapes.

Obviously noisy but on a 5 game rolling basis, Jeremiah Fears +/- trajectory has been quite positive as the season has went. Big drivers in my opinion - defensive aggression and offensive decision making

If you don’t see the utility personally, I can get that. If I wasn’t coding I probably wouldn’t either. If you’re worried about its downsides, join the club. A lot of us are too. But no matter what your take is, take it seriously. This shit isn’t crypto.

The open source models are good enough that you could tank every foundational company and this still would be happening. This tech, whatever it is, is here, and I can run it at home

A year ago, I thought LLMs were kind of neat but not that useful. I saw the code autocomplete and thought, meh. Last summer just flipped. I never ever thought I would see automated code generation like we see now. I know there’s baggage but you need to know the coders are being real about this

In this same timeframe, the Pelicans are 8.9 pts per 100 better on defense with Herb Jones on the court - which is a team best swing. 110 DRTG with him on (elite) 118.9 DRTG with him off (bad)

Since Borrego became interim, Pelicans are +4.1 per 100 possessions when Herb Jones is on the court. They are -6.5 when he is off, giving him a net +10.6 on/off. The Zion, Herb, Trey, Bey 4 man group has a 120.3 ORTG, 101.9 DRTG, +22 net.
