As usual, the headline misstates the actual findings, which are way less conclusive and way more caveated, and I see several huge methodology flaws in the studies themselves (one of which they corrected in the followup, but only one)

PRAISE EVERYTHING, my amazing genius of a spine orthopedist worked out a way to get the risk level of a cervical disc replacement (instead of fusion) down under our mutually acceptable threshold despite the Ehlers Danlos so there is a CHANCE I will be able to avoid 2 more fusions!
Feeling grumpy at the doctor today so when they handed me the stack of forms they already confirmed I'd completed in advance electronically I just wrote "completed online" on the bottom and stopped, heh
But if you go to the people who are all "oh my god they hate their users" (anybody who says they've never hated their users even once is lying) and ask them if they've ever hated a customer at their job, that's totally different, don't you know
