Kate Draws 🌈✨️@tacticiankate.bsky.social · 51m ago

HI AND HELLO #PortfolioDay I'm Kate, a freelance character artist who loves drawing ocs, fantasy, and pretty ladies!!! 🌈💖🎨 Hoping to be open for new work in the next week or two!! 🙇‍♀️

A portrait illustration of ida's oc Astra, a woman with blue skin, bright blue eyes, long wavy white hair, and a tall unicorn horn. She is dressed in black with gold lace and accents, including lots of star-shaped jewelry and danglies, and the underside of her hair is colored to look like a night sky. The background is a simple black to grey gradient with a gold border and the Monoceros constellation behind her head.

A nighttime color illustration of Narney's OC Lellio, a living doll. She has pale skin, big ol ears, ball-jointed fingers and hands, and long white hair bound loosely in gold clasps. She is dressed elegantly and standing with her hands clasped and eyes closed as though making a wish; the background is a circular graphic of the night sky filled with shooting stars, with one especially bright star centered over her head.

A color illustration of buntglas's OC Misam, a cosmic bunny lady. She has warm brown skin with light freckles and pale purple palms, a gold third eye tattoo, long flowing hair in a loose braid going from dark purple to lavender to gold and ending in a shooting star, and bunny ears. She is wearing a dark purple top and skirt, both with gold trim, and a transparent sari with intricate star-patterned trim; she has LOTS of gold accessories, all evocative of stars and moons. The background is a gold and purple art nouveau-style circular graphic with a central eye motif surrounded by celestial symbols.

A color illustration of a dragonkin/tiefling woman with deep blue skin, closed eyes, tall curved horns with a glowing crescent moon between them, and long wavy hair going from indigo at the top to pale gold at the ends. She is dressed in an indigo gown with lots of gold trim and accessories and sheer blue accent cloth. She is holding a large golden greatsword with blue roses and purple thorns around the guard. The background is an art nouveau-style circular graphic of gold celestial motifs on a black to maroon gradient.

First page of a comics one-shot, 'Happiness at the End of the World', published by Limit Break Comics, written and colored by me, drawn by Pablo M. Collar. It shows a space ship travelling in space, with some planets in the background, and then a smaller panel inside the spaceship, with the captain. The narration reads: "Have you heard the tale of Captain DeMorgan? Gather 'round and learn of her journey... How all that she saw was never enough".

A quote from a short story (Bad Bones) I wrote for the horror fiction platform, Chain Letter.

One of the women is a green goblin, orange hair in a ponytail and purple eyes, wearing a shirt and a scarf and trousers. The other woman is average human sized, with white skin, yellow flush to the cheeks and hair that goes from dark to light grey. Eyes are gold. She’s wearing a blouse, trousers, gloves, boots. They seem to be enjoying the sunny but windy day.

She is wearing green and gold clothes and jewellery and holding a small bread in one hand and a sickle with engraved butterflies on the other. She is surrounded by wheat or tall golden grass and in the distance behind her there is a tall green mountain.

Digital illustration of a necromancer and their summon. They both stand wreathed in sickly green clouds. The necromancer has an eyepatch, bright red hair and is wearing a long dress that is soaked in blood at the hem. Their summon is an about 10 foot tall, four-armed skeleton wrapped in dark red bog-mummy skin. It's head is a horse-skull.

Digital illustration of a book showing Anduin and Wrathion from World of Warcraft. They are looking at each other and reaching out their hands. A bright thread of fate connects them. Beyond is a range of mountains, crested with aurora lights.

Full colour digital illustration showing a long-necked blue dragon emerging from a lake. Stars glitter in the nightsky above, but there is the hue of dawn at the horizon. Three figures (Azune, Vaelus and Hannen) watch in awe.

Two illustrations. 1: A digital illustration showing a knight in full armour. They are riding on a black steed which is mostly out of frame. The frame in question is green and shows a chain going around as a decorative element. That chain is broken by the knight's raised sword. From the knight's chest bursts a roaring flame in the colours of the trans pride flag.
2:digital illustration: Pictured is a knight in full armour, bar helmet. their hair is long and dark and they have curling horns on their head. They face away from the viewer, looking into a stylized nightsky with a crescent moon. The frame of the image contains thorned rose bramble, parrying daggers and an illustration in each corner: a weeping skull on the left and a armoured gauntlet holding a rose on the right.
