Stefan Hadzic's research bridges basic biology and translational medicine, focusing on the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying adult lung growth, resilience, and repair.
Since Fan Wu's time as a PhD student at the Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research, she has been dedicated to understanding how epigenetic dysregulation contributes to lung disease.
Marius' research at the CPI aims at the investigation of the regulation and molecular consequences of tRNA supply differences across the hematopoietic and cardio-pulmonary system to ultimately inspect causality between differential tRNA expression and (pathological) changes in cell identity.
