Late night thought. We way too often measure the intelligence of an animal by their ability to learn our languages, gesticulations, and other means of communication... and maybe I missed it, but when did any human ever succeed in learning any of theirs?

Saw an excellent argument to convince any reachable climate change doubters: every insurance company employees climate experts and prices in climate risks. If it weren't real, other companies could ignore it and undercut them in price. They don't.

In a time, where the fundamental values and social fabric we have taken for granted is being dismantled before our eyes, it can feel somewhat anchoring to just build something concrete. So today, with help of my friends, we started expanding the bathroom to add a new shower cabin.

Hilarious, and though completely satirical, still made me wanna re-visit Franz de Waal's iconic book: "Are we smart enough to know how smart animals are?"
