My parents are out to visit! We've had like... phonecalls and stuff, but this is the first time I've seen them since we moved. We are having a lovely time.

Perpetually exhausted, accidental cafe owner who just wants to be left alone to write and draw. On my good days, I'm enthusiastic and can find beauty in everything. On the bad days, I just remind myself that they don't last forever.
I find myself more and more missing the internet that was. Back when you could post something, and people would reply. Screaming into the void and dodging bots is exhausting, and I'm hoping to find a scrap of that old connection that was so important to my sense of self when I was younger.
