I made a similar joke yesterday, but I guarantee someone at Neon really wants to call this BACKROADS. It's gonna get some comparisons to BACKROOMS, though it premiered over a year ago on the festival circuit, predating the current trends. Cool As fuck vibes driven cosmic horror. Highly recommended.

Grateful for the new pre-movie bumper that names specific places that serve Coca-Cola, a notoriously hard-to-find beverage.

Just finished (for the third time) the novel Ragtime, on which the musical is based. I love them both. The musical is a brilliant adaptation, using lines directly from the book, condensing a chapter into a song, expanding a paragraph into a song. The book is crisp and reportorial, oddly moving.
