It was great to be at Hysata last Friday as the Albanese Government is backing innovation and advanced manufacturing with a $49 million investment in Hysata to scale up production of its world-leading hydrogen electrolysers at Port Kembla.

We're putting more roofs to work.  One in three Aussie homes have rooftop solar, but larger energy users have been locked out because the existing rebate only supports systems up to 100kw.

It was great join the Electrify Australia launch event last night in Parliament House.  Our nation is a world leader of solar, and now we are leading the world in batteries too.  Suburban families are getting on with the job because they know what's good for the planet is good for their pocket.

Cheaper Home Batteries are doing exactly what we said they would do: helping half a million households cut bills, store cheap solar and take control of their energy use.

The Liberals have made it very clear that they would abolish the Cheaper Home Battery program.  They don't care about the suburbs and regions that are taking up this policy who are making enormous savings on their energy bills.

As the country with the highest uptake of solar per capita, it means we are a world leader when it comes to clean energy production.  We've got more work ahead of us but we have come a long way.
