So I finished Cai's path and holy hell this is the best FE story of all time. It's actually not even close, how the hell did this series just start punching so far above their usual standards out of nowhere like this. I cried, it was unreal.

Cai chapter 8 is deadass my favorite FE map experience, ever. The map gimmick is really fun. Staving off a gigantic miniboss as tension and emotions are running so high is so intense. The reinforcement conditions are some of the coolest and most hype moments I've ever experience. Masterclass work.
I could never finish 3H. Didn't enjoy it. But liking FW so much has me wanting to give it an honest revisit. So now I'm playing a blind-ish Maddening run because I REALLY want to like this game, which means going for actual challenge over dull easy boredom. Beat chapter 1 and it's a blast so far.
Fortune's Weave isn't that great of a Fire Emblem game, but it might seriously be one of the best games in the Fire Emblem series.
