Couple of nights ago, #childhood-demons were upon me. Kids used to taunt me with “funny face pillow” when I was 8 or 9. Etc. I realized these asshats are probably dead by now. This is too long to carry this… so I decided to let the demon out. Voila! Cute character!

What childhood demons really are, when examined closely: silly and harmless. Not talking here about real bad stuff, just the hateful burdens one carries for far too long. Like the other kids thinking you’re odd. I mean, we’re all odd, and so what? Own it. This is for my younger self and yours, too: we were always perfect just as we were.
