I applied to march in this year’s Pride Parade, as I’ve done when allowed to do so in the past, as the Member of Parliament serving Calgary Centre. The Calgary Pride Team Board of Directors decided that my application was lacking in that it didn’t come from the Conservative Party of Canada, itself.

1/2: I note with regret the passing of Bill Wilson last week. Bill was a retired Navy captain who was a gunner with the Canadian Forces on D-Day. Here in Calgary, he was a driving force behind the 1988 Olympics, the Naval Museum of Alberta, and the Military Museums.
