Two awards, one incredible achievement! Huge congratulations to NU Cancer’s Camille Drai on winning Outstanding Technician of the Year and Early Career Achievement at the Newcastle University Technician Awards 👏 #NUCancer #NewcastleUniversity #TechnicianAwards

Last week marked the end of my project on T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, funded by Ruby's fund. Over the past two years, I worked to understand the role of super-enhancers in this disease.

Thrilled to begin a new journey as a research technician on a @cancerresearchuk.org (CRUK) funded project in Dr Lisa Russell’s group! Together with Dr Nicholas Brittain, I’ll be exploring how super-enhancers contribute to leukaemia cell survival to deepen understanding of the disease.
