Season 1 of Edgerunners was pure Cyberpunk, capital C. It fully embraced the ethos Mike Pondsmith laid out in the TTTPG of what it took to be on the edge Season 2 is absolutely pure cyberpunk, lowercase c. It's got more in common with the works of Gibson, Stirling or Dick than anything else.
