I was without electricity for 22 hours & 5 min 😆 The last time that happened was about three years ago! I’m writing this right now and the power is out again! ‼️During these blackout days, creativity is 1 of the best ways to keep my spirits up! So, a few words about the situation in #Kyiv. There’s even less electricity now. Blackouts and generators have once again taken over the city. Yesterday and today, there were major disruptions to the metro and public transport...🔽

According to an old Ukrainian legend, #IvanBohdan was a Ukrainian from Kolomyia who crossed the Atlantic more than 400 years ago and became part of the story of early America 🇺🇦🇺🇸…🔽

Today I received these instruments from the Carpathians, made from local hornbeam wood! 🇺🇦🌲 This is the sopilka - an ancient Ukrainian folk wind instrument, and one of the main instruments featured in my new single #IvanBohdan (The Legend of the First Ukrainian in America)!

Over the past 3 days, the power outages in Kyiv have become more and more frequent. Last night, I woke up again to the sound of russian drones flying overhead. I’m drinking my coffee in complete silence right now, trying to save mobile data.
