just installed VR to test it out, the actual setup just kinda... worked? although there's this horrible screen tearing like thing... idk its like the view lags behind the head but very subtly, also overlays are rendering differently in each eye. hopefully this won't be too difficult to fix
biggest annoyance with CachyOS / KDE Plasma I'm dealing with is my main display, my brightness keeps going slightly up and down every 30-60 seconds. trying to figure it out but... dont see anyone talking about running into this

Thinking about giving Linux one more try soon. The thing that pushed me off was really just bad fractional scaling support on Wayland. Since my last linux attempt, I’ve moved from a 16:9 1440p monitor to a… 21:9 1440p monitor. I feel like that’ll just make any potential problems worse.
