electronic music + visual stuff: buffalo, ny

When I was first speaking to labels, I remember one or two saying they liked my music but already sounded a little like another artist they had. Now, there is a growing trend of small labels putting out artists who all sound the same and have to fit/adopt a very specific defined aesthetic

Labels that deal in sound collage/plunderphonics/ambient type schtuff- got any names? I feel like I ask about labels often, but admittedly, I am out of the loop. I'm working on something that will end up being a new LP release. Rooted in sound collage, taking cues from my previous release.
