North Norfolk long weekend Chazza roundup. Everything a quid or 50p except Deelite 7” for £1.75!
Needed a new watch strap so popped into H’don and the blind place by the car park was open for once. A quid each. Lotsa Frank there for next time.
There was a little record fair in St Ives this afternoon. It was very quiet and half the stalls were packing up at lunchtime. I spent a tenner on 8 twelves and two LPs. Nick Heyward 12 and Linda Rondstat comp from Woodgreen.
Took a car load to the recycling centre this morning and popped into Cancer Research on the way home.
Woodgreen have moved along the road to a bigger shop and now have a proper stock of music, supplied and priced by the warehouse, so no more £18 Jim Reeves LPs.

Colonoscopy report summary says "Uneventful". I beg to differ: I spent 24 hours drinking laxatives and turning myself inside out, someone injected me with Fentanyl, and someone else shoved a camera up my bum. I'd call that a fairly lively day out!

Day 4, Aldeburgh. Albums from St Lizzy’s Hospice, cd singles from Sue Ryder. Beccles tomorrow.
Halesworth CDs. St Lizzie’s a quid a pop, Dee’s Den 3 for 50p.
Day 3. St Liz Hospice, Halesworth, came up trumps. Everything a quid apart from minty Isleys a fiver from Halesworth Music Emporium (the shop of the Southwold record fair man) and Andy Williams £1 from Southwold Break for Mr AV. The Walkabouts is a US release on Sub Pop, what's it doing in Suffolk?
Southwold day two. Double Whitney £1 in St Elizabeth Hospice. Unkle, Q Covered £1.10 and a load of 25p Beany-tastic newspaper giveaways from Break.

Southwold Chazza raid, day zero (I nipped into EACH just before they shut, on my to the CoOp, because I left the cheese at home).

I was going to spend this afternoon recording links for my next CSC, but Microsoft have decided that my 2013 Avid USB audio interface will no longer connect to Windows 11. I met Bill Gates once, I should have kicked him in the balls.
A question for the vinyl/hi-fi buffs. My Audio-Technica AT-OC9XSL (MC cartridge) has died. It could sound a bit 'edgy' with less-than-mint vinyl (I buy a lot), could that be due to the Line Contact stylus? The AT-OC9XSH (Shibata tip) is £80 cheaper. I'd sacrifice a bit of performance for robustness.

Spent yesterday evening with Mrs F, looking for holiday flats on the Suffolk coast. My first thought: "I can go to the A shop in Beccles and buy a load of chazza vinyl." I'm a lost cause, aren't I?
