Kooks vs Locs Bike party Santa Cruz returns next Friday!

A friend of mine specializes in “up-cycle” art (tall bike joke) The longer you look the more interesting his work gets. These are all rideable and were shown at a local bike shop called The Missing Spoke in Santa Cruz. He’s brilliant and I wanted to share his work with all of you.

Then lower the speed limit for cars on residential streets to 20. I already get harassed, tailgated and threatened for riding near 25 in a 25. Forcing ebikes under the lowest speed limit for cars puts them in danger. Cynically starting to think this is on purpose.

Today I delivered another 26 bags of fresh food from White Center Food Bank to 13 families in White Center and Seattle for the @cascade.org #PedalingReliefProject – we use volunteers with bikes and trailers to bring food to neighbors with mobility or accessibility challenges visiting the food bank 😍

I can vouch for this bike, solid on street and trail.

When people say DIY EBikes are dangerous and ugly because of sloppy wiring… This is the bike they picture in their heads

Just a reminder, It only takes 2 kids on a school bus to make it worth while when considering traffic congestion. -Modern busses and luxury trucks use very similar engines. -Two SUVs add up to one bus in total length. -Spending money on Americans (especially kids) is never a waste of money.

Trolled by a friend this weekend. His old Prius C died and he’s getting a new car. Told me on the phone his partner wanted a bigger vehicle for safety and for when they have family visit. Went on to tell me he got an EV9 (it’s big). Of course I got all worked up. Damn that guy knows me too well.
