#mechatober #mechatober2026 13. Sanitation The power farms automatically dump expended bodies into decomposition vats for recycling. But in the machine city a specialized mech collects depleted power cells and replaces them with units from its own living assortment.

A Matrix machine design with an abstract bulbus head covered in red modules and six clawed tentacles. Created in Krita.

Knot patterns created through trigonometric parameterization. Two of the patterns are composites edited together.

#mechatober #mechatober2026 12. Beast If war is hell then this mech is its lord. Half drake and half horned giant, it is a demonic dracotaur that brings relentless lethality and domination to any arena.

A red dracotaur mech with back horns and a long, curled tail.

#MathArt Inspired by John Edmark's Dahlias inside Atlantis The Royal Hotel in Dubai, UAE.

Opposing logarithmic spirals with shading framed in a circle. Created using Excel and Krita.

#mechatober #mechatober2026 11. Archaic Inspired by the mythology of Medusa, this mechadusa is a tentacled nightmare who freezes enemies with fear. Once painted blue from claw to toe, her killing edges have been polished golden by abundant use.

A blue mechanical woman with five gold clawed tentacles. The claws can be retracted into rectangular safety positions. There is also a golden horn protruding from the head of the mech.

#mechatober #mechatober2026 9. Menace The mild hum of servo-motors is uncharacteristically absent in this mech, giving it the stealth to sneak up on enemy combatants when it isn't just blasting away with its plasma cannons. It is death incarnate, a reaper cast in merciless metal, a menace in war.

A bug like humanoid mech with four arms, two of which are plasma cannons.

Flattened spherical waveform with coloring. Made using Excel and Krita.

#mechatober #mechatober2026 8. Exemplar Sacred geometry in the design and positioning of a mech. Coordinates for the vertices of an icosahedron are indicated.

A four-armed mech holding a geometric sword and shield in a sitting position. Overlay of an icosahedron wireframe with coordinates for the vertices.

#mechatober #mechatober2026 7. Protest A private corporate mech designed to quell public unrest is equipped with a shield and baton made out of optical enhancing ceramic. This same ceramic is used on some ships and planes for safer navigation, but now it also serves to better target civilians.

A hulking mech holds a shield and baton. There is a blue glow on the mech. The shield and baton are transparent and alter the color of objects behind them.

Flattened spherical waveform with filter effects. Made using Excel and Krita.

#mechatober #mechatober2026 6. Vertical A holographic billboard mech promoting the android nutrient drink: Pynk-Pop-Power.

A two-legged walking billboard with hexagons on a vertical panel and pink holographic words and bubbles.

#mechatober #mechatober2026 5. Abyssal This eerie multi-brained mech has three independent android faces originally intended to be a comfort to the lost & isolated during search & rescue deployment. Its skills included conversation & singing. Primary uses are for mining and deep sea welding.

A mech with three faces, four arms and an orange colored humanoid body. Mechanical pencil sketches scanned then done over with the Bezier curve tool in Krita along with coloring and shading.

#mechatober #mechatober2026 4. Servant An old butler mech with three right hands and curled feet presents a standard 3x3 Rubik's Cube served scrambled.

A blue-gray humanoid robot with four arms. Its bow tie and characteristically held serving towel indicate it is a butler. It has thick white eyebrows and a mustache. It is holding a plate with a Rubik's Cube on it. Mechanical pencil sketches scanned and done over with the Bezier curve tool in Krita along with coloring and shading.

Taught the flower to bloom. 🌸 Think of it as a time-lapse: half the day it spins left, half the day it spins right, and in between it rests. Tomorrow it starts all over again. #generativeart #mathart #creativecoding

Grew a flower with zero water and about 600 triangles. 🌸 A pentagon cut into 10 slices, each slice's corners chasing each other inward. Neighbors spin opposite ways, and petals appear on their own. #generativeart #mathart #creativecoding

#mechatober #mechatober2026 3. Twins Part swapping is a popular activity for androids. But when a order mix-up delivers the wrong product to twin sisters they decide to try them out. They discover the manufacturer makes compatible components between military and civilian customers.

Two androids with the upper bodies of women, and the lower bodies of sleek military-grade combat robots. Mechanical pencil sketches scanned then done over with the Bezier curve tool in Krita along with coloring and shading.

Tangential circles placed within an 8,10 lattice based on logarithmic spirals. Plotted in Excel and colored in Krita. #MathArt

Math art showing tangent circles in a spiraling vortex configuration. Colored black, white, gray, and red. Graphed in Excel and colored in Krita.

My matrix machine without the rain. #art #ConceptArt #FanArt #scifi #TheMatrix

A robot in the design of The Matrix machines with a red power module, bird-like head, two legs and two tentacles. Inked drawing of sections scanned and colored in Krita.

#mechatober #mechatober2026 2. Rain With the idea of rain I immediately thought of The Matrix. The machines have an almost mech quality to them with (albeit unwilling) human occupants in large robots.

A gray and red robot with two legs and two tentacles.

A rotating pentagon with vertices aligned with the plot of a rose curve. #MathArt

I think dark gray is my favorite. But I also tried purple coloring. #art #DigitalArt #fantasy #InkDrawing #scifi

A portal wizard mech. Art colored green and purple.

The mech has a humanoid body with a crystal eye and a witch hat, but the lower part is a cylinder connected to a portal. The portal is green with a tentacle emerging from it. The mech is also holding a book on techno-magic.

#mechatober2026 #mechatober 1. Sealed More like unsealed. Pilot asleep. A portal wizard mech consults a techno-mystic manual when its gate malfunctions. Meanwhile something with tentacles threatens to emerge. Will the mech be able to close the portal in time and save itself, or is its fate sealed?

A scene with a green portal and emerging tentacle, and a dark gray robot wearing a witch hat and holding a magic book. The lower half of the robot body is a cylinder connected to the portal. Ink on paper and Krita coloring.
