I am now a factory worker in the AI feature factory.. leadership just presented the model for how the new AI workflow is and man I’ve never been more depressed about software development

Gonna archive this account soon, I've come to the realization that it's just not good for my mental health. There's a lot of stuff I'll be sad to miss out on, but mostly I've felt this access to the broader community has made me draw away from it rather than want to become more a part of it.
I hate that having 100 ai slop worlds instead of 10 creator made ones probably looks better for VRC as a business.. even if enthusiasts will always appreciate well crafted human made worlds and experiences.. quantity over quality is the business math sadly.
The VODs from RAVR Thrill are now out! Thank you to the amazing DJs for the killer vibes, and to all the attendees who dropped by. <3 Set links in the replies.
... RAVRs, Experience the thrill of pure beats. After a long summer break, we’re heading back into the warehouse. Expect a journey through sound that builds from the first pulse to the final drop, deep grooves and driving rhythms. vrc.tl/event/30036
DHH getting a bunch of fascist billionaires to fund his Linux rice is fucking lame.. fucking hate how people will probably praise the shit out of it without knowing who’s behind it and the right wing ideologi they will weave its way into it

One of my favorite things about this scene is hearing people talk about starting their own group and who would be on their first lineup. Getting a notification that the group is made, and the lineup is on the TL is fucking amazing. Every. Single. Time. Make your space. Do something awesome.
