And now for something completely different! You'll be surprised to learn that I not only write books; I also write song lyrics, or alternative lyrics for existing songs. There's a song called "Choosin' Texas" by Ella Langley that is currently popular. Here's a link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLOh...

Self-published author of eight books (so far), "The Henriette Spolansky Series". Henriette thought she was a happy-go-lucky middle-aged freelance journalist and mother. Then, in 2017, it was revealed to her that she was actually "a Viking warrior lady" ...
First a quick apology about my lack of posting here. There's a very serious health situation in my immediate family, with the result that I haven't been doing any work at all on my book-writing. Here's a YouTube video for your entertainment: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hx4...

The Ukrainian media organization United24 Media published this video about the Ukrainian soldier who told the Russian warship Moskva, "Russian warship, go fuck yourself!", and how that phrase spread in many ways.
This posting is inspired by something I saw on a Bluesky thread several days ago: bsky.app/profile/bonk... On that thread, Bluesky user @bonkrenew.bsky.social remarked that Viktor Orbán's defeat in Hungary followed by Rumen Radev becoming prime minister in Bulgaria was like a game of Whack-a-Mole.

Here's a picture of your intrepid author hard at work in Toulouse, France, doing "research" for "Mach", the next volume in the exciting Henriette Spolansky series of thrillers. Unfortunately, Airbus didn't allow tour visitors to take any pictures, so you'll have to make do with this. #booksky
Once again I'm announcing that I've used some time to go through one of my old books and make lots of minor revisions. I've now completed revising "Kirill", and have republished it on Amazon, both as a Kindle eBook and as a paperback. Here are images of the front and back covers of the paperback:
Back around the start of April, I posted some info about my book "Vlad", book number five in my Henriette Spolansky series of thrillers. In that posting I focused on Henriette's interest in witches, a major subplot in the story. I've now republished "Vlad" with a lot of minor editing.
In this posting I'm not providing any new information about my fantastic books. Instead, I'll just express some moral outrage about US President Donald Trump, and especially his cult-like MAGA (Make America Great Again) followers.
In this posting I'll reminisce a bit about "Vlad", book number five in my Henriette Spolansky series. I wrote "Vlad" back in 2021, at a time when there was increasing speculation that Vladimir Putin was going to do something nasty. (Which he did in Feb. 2022, when he invaded Ukraine.)
More good news regarding "Noire", the latest book in my Henriette Spolansky series of thrillers! I've now gotten feedback from my two fantastic muses, something that was unfortunately delayed due to health issues. Here's the front and back covers of the now-revised paperback edition.
Time for a progress report on what's happening with the Henriette Spolansky series, my series of thrillers about Henriette, a middle-aged Danish freelance journalist. I've spent the last month revising and then re-publishing "Twist", book number four in the series. Here are the paperback covers:
In this posting I'll reminisce about some of the anti-Trump stuff that permeated my first four books, which were written during Trump's first term as president. To start with, here is a chapter-start quotation from my second book, "Spider", published in 2019.
A quick follow-up to my posting yesterday. Bruce Springsteen has now released a video version of his protest song Streets of Minneapolis. It's much more powerful than the first audio-only version, and gives me hope that the despicable Trump regime can be defeated. www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDaP...

Bruce Springsteen has released a new protest song, aimed at the Trump administration's use of masked and militarized immigration enforcement officers, the so-called I.C.E. These officers have been involved in the shooting and killing of two Americans in Minneapolis. www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWKS...

Time for another update on how it's going with my valiant efforts to become a world-famous author. After publishing "Noire", book number 8 in the fantastic Henriette Spolansky series, I've been spending some time making small revisions to my older books.
Denmark, and especially Greenland (an autonomous territory in the Danish Realm), are very much in the news these days. This has several indirect implications for me and for my efforts to become a best-selling author. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9T4h...

Now that "Noire" is done, it's time for a "blast from the past", plus a peek into the future. I've just used a week making small revisions to my first book, "Grom", and re-publishing it. Just as a reminder, here's the front and back covers of the paperback version of "Grom":
More great news! The paperback edition of "Noire" is now available on Amazon, as a print-on-demand book! Here's an image of the front cover of the paperback edition of "Noire".
Great news! "Noire", my eighth book in the fantastic Henriette Spolansky series, has now been published as a Kindle eBook on Amazon! It should be available on all Amazon websites worldwide. Here are a couple of links: Amazon USA: www.amazon.com/dp/B0G5D4Y57Z

Good news! I've completed my revisions to the manuscript for "Noire"! And the cover image for "Noire" is finished! See the attached graphic. The cover image was made by the very talented Thanos Lozos, thanoslozos.artstation.com.
The attached picture shows a statue in Varna, Bulgaria, called "Dragons in Love", by Darin Lazarov. As I mentioned in a posting back in June, I spent three weeks in Varna doing "research" for my upcoming book "Noire". I fell in love with this statue, and took many pictures of it.
First a status report: As I've previously stated, the first draft of "Noire" is done. I'm now going through the manuscript and making various revisions. Then I'll be reading the book to my two wonderful muses to get their feedback, and I'm hoping my amazing brother will also provide a proof-reading.
The Monument of the Bulgarian - Soviet Friendship is a monument built in 1978 on a hill on the northern outskirts of Varna, Bulgaria, close to the Black Sea coast.
Finally! The first draft of "Noire", book number 8 in the fantastic Henriette Spolansky series, is completed!
"Noire", the eighth book in the fantastic Henriette Spolansky series, is finally close to completion! Now at 325 pages, and only three chapters to go!
As usual, apologies for it being so long between posts here. The good news is that "Round Two" (alias Part Two) of "Noire" is complete! You can see a list of the chapter titles in the attached screenshot.
It's been a long time since I've talked about how the Modesty Blaise series of book influenced my Henriette Spolansky books. I've been a huge fan of the Modesty Blaise books right from the start, so when I decided to try my hand at writing a book, several things were obvious:
Things are beginning to fall into place, and "Noire", the next book in the exciting Henriette Spolansky series, is now up to 195 pages. This is presumably more than 50% of the finished book, so progress is being made, although slowly.
As usual, sorry about my lack of posting ... It's still going very slowly with my writing of "Noire", book number eight in the awesome Henriette Spolansky series. Current status is that "Round One" is done, and the book is at about 155 pages.
