Slaughterhouses would have the high Nitrates. Nitrates that affect livestock primarily come from plants (forages and weeds) that accumulate high levels of nitrogen from the soil, though contaminated water and direct fertilizer ingestion are also major sources.

I had full unconditional access to the ingredients of rooms at the world's two largest meat packing companies. I'm happy to report there were no nitrates, no nitrites, no tripolyphosphates. Sorry for any broken BS meters. There were truckloads and yes they do cause cancers if eaten or drank.

@Booker.senate.gov So, is it up to the Senate to CHANGE this Bill, H.R 9436 to ensure it goes back to the House?!?! I say, turn the years into months on this Bill. Reevaluate it in 6 months! There should be some people with backbones in Congress!
