WB really went and killed one of its best in-house dev teams, creators of the most beloved gameplay mechanic of the 2010s (Nemesis System), that they've locked away from other devs through a trademark. And then claims it's out to ensure the best quality in video games going forward.

Sometimes, people ask me what I think the worst modern Marvel story is. Some would say One More Day. Others would say Civil War. Or the fallout of House of M. All very good answers. All of them, excellent answers. But- I'mma raise you another contender.

I remember making this exact point when I mentioned revisiting BTAS and comparing it to contemporary kids animation darlings, how the latter has a decidedly narrower reference pool while BTAS was touching on films, poetry, history, literature... And so many people tried to beef with me over it.
