I only check the reader review sites when I’ve read a book, don’t love it, and want to see if anyone else had the same reaction. I never go there to browse. My queue is from people just regular-style talking about books, or booksellers, or libraries. Sometimes from publications like Kirkus etc.

I've found that people seem to think reviews are just what's on GR and Storygraph or popular dedicated blogs, but even just your average social media post where you say "I read this book and loved it" counts!

This goes for indie publishers as well! Buy books Write reviews (or even just star ratings) Tell people about the stories you've loved or are excited for* *online & in person! Request them through your library Ask your local bookshops to order them Word of mouth makes a huge difference for us.

I have heard there's been a fancy new update that tells you when someone follows you from a starter pack Let's try it out, what do you say? Pleasantly surprise a few human artists :D

I hate the misconception that antidepressants suppress your feelings; this is what prevents people from getting help. It's hard to feel a full range of feelings when depression constantly pulls you down towards all the bad ones.

Prozac made it so my child could live a full, authentic life. Like, enjoy vacation instead of worrying the house we were staying in would burn down in a forest fire. Normally, I say to each their own but this is so damaging.

We got Wily a bunch of toys for International Cat Day (or, more accurately, because she is the neediest yelliest baby and we’re trying desperately to meet her inscrutable demands)

It's a five book series, so this won't be the last time. When the Witch Wroke Back! is in stores now. 🎃 👻
