Alberta: I know so many feminist, queer, progressives there and so I know all the stereotypes aren't true. But I also know the "Alberta gives more to Canada than we get in return!" stereotype is also not true. I refuse to give up on Alberta but goddamn. Don't give up on us, please.

Back to smith hearing, the Rs are assessed with smith having subpoenaed their toll records (i.e. records of numbers dial not conversation). But that move was completely orthodox. If not mandatory to learn what Trump and meadows were up to that day. And the idea that it’s speech or debate is risible.

Seems obvious that JD Vance or a close aide is a key anonymous source for this NY Times story. Vance apparently wants NYT to help him create the impression he's blameless in the war. Note that NYT does not say Vance declined comment. Surely he was contacted, considering the story is all about him.
