Begging artists that work slowly to start communicating more or use trello because months of no communication *after taking payment* is really unprofessional. Husband paid for a comm over a year ago with only 2 updates. One of which had to be prompted. I'm frustrated on his behalf.
Old lady advice: Surround yourself with people who are positive toward others, supportive, and offer honest, constructive advice. Avoid those who constantly bad-mouth people in front of you. If they are speaking that way about them, they're speaking the same way about you when you're not around.
