i was bullied for my stimming in elementary school. it was the late 90's / early 2000's and staff used to restrain autistic kids from stimming. idk if that's still going on. to this DAY i only stim in private and i mask constantly. thanks to the school system and bullies. 👎

i truly dislike when some of my family sees me picking at my skin and trying to tell me "oh, you can easily stop doing that." and refuse to listen when i tell them it's a disability. i'm not doing this for fun. half the time i don't even KNOW I'M DOING IT. it's an actual hair pulling disorder.
