Dolly Parton was UBI-adjacent. After the 2016 Tennessee wildfires, she created the My People Fund giving families who lost their homes $1,000 a month for six months. She didn’t dictate how they spent it, she trusted people to know what they needed. That’s the spirit of Universal Basic Income

Sinds straatarts Michelle van Tongerloo iemand zich zag wassen in het toilet van de bibliotheek, kijkt ze anders naar de ruimte. In Rotterdam zijn er nog maar weinig plekken waar je kunt verblijven zonder iets te kopen, te presteren of ergens naartoe te werken. Lees verder: corr.es/cbece8
