Absolutely incredible scenes here. "I'm not a journalist so I'm held to a different standard on defamation."
If the provocateurs are lucky, this story dies today. If it doesn't, they'll wish it had.
One reason I expect Ford can succeed with the Fathom *if* it delivers a high quality product is there's a good bit of evidence the F-150 Lightning was very well received by truck owners who didn't need real towing range. It just badly missed the mark on price. www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
Ford Killed Its Electric Truck. Then Demand Surged
The F-150 Lightning has become a coveted item in the used market after the company discontinued the model.

That was the stupidest ending to a football game I've seen in my entire life.
Again, we don't need chapters about "what DOGE might have been if the people involved had had any decency at all." We need to send these people to jail forever for unprecedented crimes. We really need to <not> spend anytime on "right idea, wrong execution" right now (bsky.app/profile/mcop...).
The Guy Behind The Big Short and Moneyball Is Back to Take On Elon Musk and DOGE. It’s a Roller Coaster.
Michael Lewis’ Blockers tells the stories of good public servants driven away by the Trump administration.

If the lessons Democrats (& democrats) draw from DOGE is “right idea, wrong implementation,” we are doomed. Everyone involved in the unprecedented crime that was DOGE needs to go to jail forever, & Democrats need to rebuild all of the programs & agencies first, not do digital management consulting 🤦♂️
"The officials, who received calls from US officials on Saturday and Sunday or were briefed on them, said the US was lobbying European capitals & Kyiv in an attempt to end the attacks on Russian oil refineries. The White House declined to confirm or comment on the calls." www.ft.com/content/68fd...

Every American adult knows what HIPAA is. Meanwhile, the mental health clinic is going to have grounds for lawsuits against everyone involved in fabricating the incident and promoting obvious falsehoods. I highly doubt Fox will touch it.
It appears the deus ex machina MAGA has concocted for Texas is a phony phone call to a mental health facility in Ohio that inexplicably “confirmed Talarico was a patient there”…produced by right-wing media guy Nick Sortor to “explain” the 10-day absence. Uh-huh.
While obviously a far cry in terms of human toll, it's safe to say the planet hasn't seen anything like this moment since World War 1, if not the 18th Century coalition wars. Absolute chaos, longstanding grievances reignited, multiple theaters opened, everything loosely connected.
What a weird world we live in - Ukraine hits a data centre deep in Russia - Irish twitter users see racist posts about IPAS centres in Offaly fall off a cliff
And now the best part: Bot traffic from the #Yandex network has plunged to near zero following the strike on its Vladimir data center. Bot traffic includes automated requests from search crawlers, scrapers and other online services. Twitter must be a ghost town by now.
The fact the Houthis got an American in Riyadh means the odds of Trump greenlighting a US intervention just went up significantly
Imagine if the CEOs of Accenture or SAP spent all their time musing about building secret moon bases and nuking Earth from space, or whatever.

If you asked me last week I would have said the election is more or less baked and we wouldn’t see much movement either way between now and 11/3, but Trump’s failing on diesel has me increasingly convinced we’re headed for a “bottom falls out” scenario.
I do think we'll see Rs cut bait on Paxton before November. They may not say it out loud, but the signs will be unmistakable. You can't resucitate this.
Developments in Saudi Arabia are a reminder that coalition wars are often unpredictable and can easily spiral, metastasize, and drag on for years with devastating effects well outside the scope of conflict between the original belligerents.
