Hey all. August has been ridiculously busy. Lots going on between doing the rounds promoting my comic, doing art commissions, family stuff, school starting and certification class being a thing. That being said, likely won't have a new episode of the show until September. Be ready!
That depends. How long have you got to hear me talk about how the popular game from a long list of "classics" and "critical darlings" you believe is some kind of masterpiece is actually a piece of shit? Because it's a lot.

Well, I've been trying to tackle and complete a bunch of games this summer. I have been able to get a few of those done (Skald, Absolum, Space Marine 2, Tormented Souls 2, Cronos), but I feel like I needed something fresh. All this to say I have been utterly charmed by Kingdoms of the Dump.
@distractedelf.bsky.social has convinced me, without a doubt, of how terrible Mystra is. And considering how many D&D licensed video games I have reviewed over the years, that is a lot of Mystra-based shenanigans going on in the background.

Completed both Absolum and Cronos: the New Dawn this week and man, both feel like major accomplishments. Great games, both of them, for different reasons and the idea that they aren't talked about more is a literal shame.
14. Streets of Rage 4 - 3 hrs Everything I could have wanted from an new entry in one of my favorite beat 'em up series. The art & animations were like a cartoon come to life. The soundtrack was a banger. Gameplay was a blast. A love letter to Streets of Rage fans and I absolutely loved it.
