☕️🎆 Thanks to everyone who joined my ‘Coffee with Claire’ in Stoke Gifford today on firework regulation changes. We discussed their role in celebrations and their impact on a wide range of people, including those with PTSD, working shifts and more, and pets. I’ll take local views to Ministers.

On Friday, I shared my Mum’s impossible bind & lack of real choice in the late-stage of her terminal illness. I voted for the Bill to proceed for further consideration, but this was not the majority vote, this time. I respect different views & appreciate fellow residents sharing theirs with me.

Having met local bereaved military families & written to the Minister to call for this, I’m very pleased to see it happening. This builds on free travel for serving personnel & veterans for Remembrance. This will help more bereaved military families get to events & be with the wider forces family
