Looking for opinions on Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I have two of his novels - One Hundred Years of Solitude and Love in the Time of Cholera - on my shelf and I’d love to dive into them, but they seem incredibly daunting. Are they? Or are there other books of his that are a better entry point?

“Strangeways, Here We Come” is both the Smiths final album and their best one (IMHO). Every song shines and the expansion of their sound is stunning. I’m glad they split up while they were on top, but based on this trajectory, I can only imagine how great another album or two would’ve sounded
