this is a really good idea – some kind of division between topics that are more news-y/discourse-y, (especially ones that can be long-running) on one hand, and Trending which is more in-the-moment/current/breaking news on the other hand, could work well
Talmhe@spaceuizado.bsky.social · 16h agoIt kinds feels like it would work better as a "news section" where you have highlighted and explained the important news talked throught a day. While in the trending you would want a quicker turnaround and even topics that are not necessarely news worthy
some initial Trending v2 feedback 🧵 🦋 the turnover in topics is pretty wild! similar to the example I posted earlier, I just saw another instance of this: these two screenshots were taken only *six minutes apart*, and yet only two topics are the same (and I think "August 4 Elections" is pinned?)
I recall we had a period of time where the response of Starmer and Cooper to concerns about these groups was ‘I like flags’
