Last day just about to leave to go to the National Gallery for the Arthur Boyd exhibition 🇦🇺 then home it’s been a great trip even with sore heels from so much trapping all over Canberra

Im staying at the art deco heritage hotel the Kurrajong and its simply stunning. Breakfast before I go to Yarralumla house the Governor Generals formal residence for their open day. My initial reason the whole trip . Sitting in the atrium

Another positively fantastic day at Government House at Yarralumla with the Governor General there in person and then a trip to Parliament House to look at the art. Time to enjoy my final dinner and relax. Tmw is the National Gallery

Every time I’m in a capital city I stop in at Haighs Chocolates from South Australia for their famous milk chocolate mint frogs. They are simply to die for.

Stopped in this funky pop up shop and got these fabulous polka dot stocking ankle sockettes for $5Aud aren’t they fab? I wear a lot of these under pants

Main Street and the Braidwood natural food store . Stocked up on my local beeswax lip balm and some local hand made food stuffs and spices

Heritage pub and a visit to St Vinnies plus vintage wedding parasols orange or white fir $5Aud great sun protection

Heritage Braidwood founded 1839 is a lovely stop on the way to Canberra for lunch and a shop browse including op shops

Dropped my babies off at the vet while I head to Canberra for a few days break . Poor Coal thinks he’s back at the shelter 😓

THe GREAT MILTINI has taken the new cat flap locking mechanism upgrade very seriously….

New solid back door installed, new cat locks on the external cat flap, an external guillotine door on the internal side and a second cat flap on the hard door. That should stop the lock picker 😈

I got this new kitty litter Smitten light weight cat litter, I thought it was low dust & lighter to carry but OMC! what a mess it makes it’s like talcum powder for paws. I ♥️Smitten recycled cat litter but I tossed this after one day, the cleaning was horrificlook at the 🐾marks

My brand new mid wrist green West German gloves. I just love them they are so soft and elegant and what a great colour. I love dark green.

I get a new solid front and back door this week as the old ones are hollow . Milts will get new clips on his cat flap because he picks the lock. 🙄 the solid door will have a guillotine type door that slides down the back ensuring he has no access at night to pick the lock 😖

3 stages of the double carport conversion. It’s been 6 years & the actual door won’t arrive from Germany 🇩🇪 for 6 months& the concreter has done a runner leaving a complete mess. The entire ceiling will have to be repainted & it was just done when they replaced it.A-tad over it

Young Coal has his 1st birthday next week on the 14th. I still think he’s slightly younger but no way to tell.

Mum had a busy day today working on Labour Day public holiday. Went to go for a walk,put my baseball cap on only to find it had a moth in it crawling under my hat&on my head. Went op shopping & picked up this 🇦🇺 Country Road orange red top and scarf for $11

Also picked up this fabulous handmade striped shirt dress for $8. It reminds me of the Romeo Gigli green striped dress Carrie Bradshaw wore. I will style it very differently but I’ve always loved it & I especially love stripes. Gloves may play a part though 🤗

Yes it’s a long weekend and Mollymook Beach and surrounds is full of tourists and unlike the unwanted Bogong Moths not usually environmentally friendly 🤣🤣🤣

Mr Milty is loving having another cat companion to play wrestle with. Like he was with Odile he’s very gentle but Coal is way more measured than Odile who was like the energiser bunny.🐈‍⬛🐾🇦🇺😻🤣

next week mummy is going to Canberra. Staying at the heritage art deco Kurrajong Hotel, visiting Parliament House & the open day of the GGs residence Yaraalumla to view the Wattle paintings of QEII, then to the National Gallery of 🇦🇺. Then to the 🇦🇺War Memorial

Baby Coal has settled in beautifully and Milty is really glad he has company 🐾🐈‍⬛♥️😻🇦🇺
