The special Summer Nights Splatfest will take place from Aug 21 at 5pm PT through Aug 23 at 5pm PT! This year's theme is "Which would you reserve for a day?” A Palace, a Theme Park, or a Beach? We hope you swing by and enjoy a jubilant city full of sunny vibes.
Today's the day, #SplatoonRaiders is available now on Nintendo Switch 2! Team up with Deep Cut on a treasure-hunting adventure and explore the depths of the Spirhalite Islands. Just watch out for the swarms of Salmonids. : ninten.do/6017vfgAb
Get ready to get raiding, #SplatoonRaiders arrives tomorrow on #NintendoSwitch2! Pre-Order today: ninten.do/6018vfVbO
Deep Cut may be stranded and surrounded by Salmonids, but they’re still keeping it cool. #SplatoonRaiders drops in 2 days!
Only 3 days until the #SplatoonRaiders adventure begins! The Spirhalite Islands are flush with ferocious Salmonids, including some with strange new evolutions. Are you ready to tackle them?
The guides contain information about the gear you obtain as well as the ecology of Salmonids. It can be good to look through them once in a while and immerse yourself in the knowledge!
Big Man will record the information you gather in your adventures. The Hoard contains what secrets of the Spirhalite Islands you've learned, and you might find some details about the history of Deep Cut too.
There are lots of Salmonid Relics to find on the Spirhalite Islands. Rumor has it that holding them can grant you a mysterious power. Surely such artifacts are worth a fortune! #SplatoonRaiders
Summer greetings! The Squid Research Lab hopes you're keeping cool out there and finding some time to kick back. Deep Cut seems pretty unbothered with the glaring sun of the Spirhalite Islands, probablly because they grew up with the rugged climate of the Splatlands.
Maws hide in ink and stage surprise attacks from below. The Maws of the Spirhalite Islands have strong plating on their undersides too, so try to hit them in the back instead. #SplatoonRaiders
The Booyarang is a gadget for the Speed Tank. It stops mid-air when thrown, pauses, and then returns to your hand. With good positioning and good clearance to throw it, you can hit a lot of Salmonids, especially if you move to the right spot while waiting for it to come back.
Flyfish are Salmonids that fire missiles from their shoulders to attack you from afar. On the Spirhalite Islands, the Flyfish has thinner armor on its cockpit than normal. Hit the Smallfry piloting it to take it out—it's a small target though, so line up your shots with care!
Brellas have both offensive and defensive capabilities. Press the fire button to shoot ink, and hold it down to open the umbrella and protect yourself. If you keep holding the button, you can launch the umbrella forward. #SplatoonRaiders
The Splatoon 3 x Splatoon Raiders Collaboration Splatfest is a wrap, and with a 365p score Team Power has secured the win! Thanks as always to everyone that got in on the fun, and be sure to claim your super sea snails in the plaza.
#SplatoonRaiders is mainly a single-player adventure, but up to four players can also team up online or via local wireless. Create a room for your friends, secure it with a password if you like, and progress the story together!
Even on a deserted island with no clothing stores, the Mechanic makes sure not to neglect fashion. Customize your look with outfits you earn by progressing in the story and clearing certain objectives. #SplatoonRaiders
The Splatoon Raiders Collaboration Splatfest kicks off later today at 5pm PT in #Splatoon3! Are you sprinting with Team Speed, playing with Team Power, or getting tricky with Team Tactics?
The Steelhead is a Boss Salmonid that inflates a bomb on its head and throws it at you. It's vulnerable while the bomb itself is being inflated. Though covered in hard scales, it seems the Steelheads of the Spirhalite Islands do take minor damage from body shots. #SplatoonRaiders
The Dash Bomb is a gadget for the Speed Tank. It explodes immediately when used, and the force propels you quickly in a direction of your choosing. You can use it concurrently with your weapon to run circles around Salmonids while shooting ink at them.
The music you'll hear in the underground of the Spirhalite Islands comes from a Salmonid group called DHA. Their setup is similar to ω-3, using instruments that fit the natural environment to boost morale. Perhaps the cello & timpani resonate with the Salmonid nervous system?
We've had to adjust our profile on the Big Shot Boss Salmonid—it now hops to get around while slamming cannonballs down to produce shockwaves. If you defeat them in a way that causes them to drop those cannonballs, the shockwaves will affect Salmonids instead of you!
Refresh that #Splatoon3 Splashtag with these new banners and titles featuring #SplatoonRaiders! Available now via the Splatoon 3 channel, which you can find in the News tab on your Nintendo Switch device.
To commemorate this Splatfest, 9 Splashtags with designs inspired by Splatoon Raiders as well as two titles will be available. These will be distributed via a Splatoon 3 news article on your Nintendo Switch device prior to the Splatfest.
Shooters keep shooting ink while you hold the button which makes them straightforward and easy to handle. They are adaptable to handling any type of Salmonid or situation. #SplatoonRaiders
