It’s Week Without Driving, ya’ll. Hear the story about how I went car free nine years ago as a mom of five kids. I hope it inspires someone to give it a try for just one week. It’s actually an amazing way to connect with our city and much easier and safer than you think! #weekwithoutdriving

Danny Cage is a passionate leader for youth participation in democracy. I am so proud of this endorsement as we have a similar vision for climate change, voting rights, and access to education. Thank you for your support, Danny!

I despise that it is the left who is constantly seen as being uncompromising and self-righteous when, in my experience, I have never met someone who is more certain of their own moral and intellectual superiority than a centrist arguing for the status quo, and doing so as if that’s being “neutral.”

Mitch is going to need extra support for this one because this forum will not include any of the other progressive candidates like myself. They chose to only include the incumbents and Eli Arnold on purpose so it won’t be a very friendly crowd. Turn up and turn out!!

I had a great time last night supporting APANO AF and the great work they do to turn vision into action. Metro Councilor Hwang does double duty as an elected official and working at APANO, leading on bringing affordable housing and economic prosperity to the community. Thank you for all you do!

If there was a word better than "honored" to express how I feel about earning earn Portland Neighbors Welcome's endorsement, I would use it here. They're fighting for a Portland that my kids (and all of us!) can actually afford to live in. I am honored to be in that fight with them.

This might be shocking to some, but the police calling for the removal of an elected council member for criticizing them is not how democracy works. The police who live in the city have a chance to vote, just like everyone else. Just thought I'd clear that up.

Did anyone notice how the only way the City Council was able to vote down the Zenith franchise transfer was because one of the moderates was absent? We shouldn’t have to rely on councilors not coming to work in order to protect our climate.

Happy Labor Day! As a long time City employee and OG bargaining team member for CPPW, I am proud to be endorsed by my union siblings, especially as several negotiate for a fair COLA and against the Mayor’s plan to outsource hundreds of union jobs. When we fight, we win! #unionstrong

Hey are you ready to break the deadlock on Portland City Council? It’s gonna take some intentional effort to show up and get the word out. Please come canvass with me this Sunday and if you can’t make it, please donate so I can reach more folks. Every little effort makes a big difference! 🙏

What I’m getting out of this city council discussion of the 2026-280 gift to Tom Dundon is that the people who bill themselves as “serious business types” haven’t the first clue about business fundamentals.

Moderates showing their true colors again and voting as a bloc against an amendment that would allow the city to raise rent on Moda every year equivalent to the rent a landlord can charge on a human tenant. 6-6 party line vote.
