A feeling of Fall today looking at Camano Island from Clinton, Wa.
These are Honey Crisp apples from a friend in Clinton. South Whidbey has old apple trees everywhere, a food source almost year round for people and other animals. This heirloom variety is amazing, so sweet and crispy but not as large as commercial varieties.
It will require educating ourselves and refusing to buy the slop.

Good morning, I am moved! Second walk before 6 am, but Bubba likes the new smells. Internet finally up after receiving 2 modems and several calls to Fukfinity. Boxes everywhere but I found the tp! I'm going back to sleep, I'm whipped!
Today I received messages from Fuxfinity that my modem couldn't be delivered by carrier. Then I got a message 3 hours later saying it was delivered. I'm not there until tomorrow but I got keys etc today. I drove over, no modem. 2 hours more and UPS sends a photo of my package on my new porch.
