You may have seen videos recently of masked ICE agents aggressively confronting bystanders by shoving phones in their faces and taking pictures of them. Leaked emails show that they’re likely using facial recognition tools to identify and surveil these bystanders. This is a fascist police state.

Copyright is literally the only thing smaller artists have to defend themselves. It’s why we were even able to take on Ai companies for stealing our work before the bigger companies came in. If you understand how to use copyright it can be a powerful defense

"Copyright is evil and should be abolished!" AYE can we stop with this take. Yes, corporations have abused the F out of copyright protections, but artists still rely on whatever protections copyright offers. It's the only reason a big corporation can't just steal literally everything we make.
