A little lawyer in London with an unhealthy obsession with boardgames, books, exploring and quotes. Hey 👋🏻

I am genuinely hyped for this little game. Went to buy some Pokemon cards and saw him just sitting there on the side…. Looking lonely! So I brought him home

Well…. In Norfolk we played a grand total of 3 games (crystallo x3, dice charmers x3 and scoundrel x2). We just explored, ate, drank and rested. Home now 😔 and ready to hide away for the next few days of the heatwave 🥵

Sometimes the games I play are dictated by the space I have available. On a mini break in Norfolk to explore the beaches, landmarks and seal colony. The cozy little cottage has a low coffee table and a v small outdoor table. I see card games and roll n writes in my future! ☺️

Hiding in a cool dark room to play spots and drink home made slushed daiquiris. Ninja slushi machine continues to deliver the summer cocktails in this house! 🏡

Last heatwave day before I need to pull myself together and work 😳. Learned Puerto Rico, played Santorini for the first time this year and returning to a classic. Azul continues to hit 💜

Heatwave in Uk…. So I’m camping in the living room, using it as a cave and playing slay the spire. Between this, scoundrel and cribbage…. I may not play a board game until my friends come over on Friday evening!

@tombrewster.bsky.social - as your channel is staunchly against any use of AI whatsoever, and you avoid anything that does use it - what platform you are moving all your monetised SUSD video content to since you must mean you’re moving away from YouTube (a platform that uses AI).

Today has been spent learning more solitaire card games. I’m a little obsessed. Also….. my first ever game of cribbage in real life. I could be hooked. ☺️

Watching snooker semi finals while playing another great design by Mark Tuck! Snooker solitaire. Gosh where has this game been all my life. It’s got my name written all over it.

April in games…. A month of: 1. Some time off work to rest 2. A short break abroad with extended family 3. Discovering the joy of 6 new games in a 52 card deck 4. Game night with friends

Final game in the trilogy. Can’t believe I have played orchard so much for a couple of years and didn’t print Grove and Forage until yesterday 🤦‍♀️

Late to the party. I am conflicted over this. I’m having a lovely relaxing time, which is what the doctor ordered. But at the same time I’m like “why am I doing this?!” 😂. Half way through year 4 and I doubt it will be packed away from the table until the game is complete. What a weird vibe.

2 yrs ago when I was quite stressed and moving jobs, I couldn’t face complex games or rules. I picked qwirkle up for a holiday and now, it’s just one of those games I turn to when I’m trying to relax. My relaxation cocktail of games is currently a blend of qwirkle, azul, toy battle and fromage. 💜

An afternoon walking around Torquay in the “English riviera” complete. Now…. Recharge with a few games of ‘scoundrel’. What a great little solo game!

Sometimes a classic just keeps on hitting. We haven’t played Splendor in so long, but we’re both tired, ready for a classic engine build and we had a solid time!
