When I was playtesting "The Adv. of the Thunder Knight", there was a scene with ghosts, which appeared as medieval people imagined them: corporeal, in the flesh. Some feedback I got was to "drop the zombies and replace them with something else, this is Pendragon, not D&D".

I was telling my 6 year old daughter about Smaug the Golden, sleeping on his treasure hoard, when she replied: "that's gross, sleeping where he pees and poops". Way to kill the epic of the tale, but she's not wrong. Did Erebor reek with the smell of his stuff or did he sneak out to do his business?

Spanish translation finished. It still needs another read, because you always miss something. And typos still seem to find their way in anyway, but hoping to catch as many as I can. Much happier having changed the original ending. The current one fits better and is truer to the characters.

Friends to friends, enemies to enemies.

I have just reached an important milestone in my #rpg writing; the English version of my #Pendragon scenario "Friends to Friends, Enemies to Enemies" is finished. Spanish translation and printer friendly versions pending, but it is definitely downhill from here.

I know how it begins, and how it ends. I also have a cool idea for something in the middle and a notion of what the Player Knights must do. The end needs to feel epic so I am shamelessly borrowing ideas from other epics to consider all the tricks in the book.

Aprovechando las rebajas me he hecho con unas cuántas cosas en Drivethrurpg. No demasiadas, que luego me olvido que las tengo y no las leo. Entre ellas unos cuántos suplementos para apoyar a otros autores del Community Programme de Chaosium y porque me hace ilusión ver su trabajo.

After the unfortunate break in my #rpg writing, I have managed to finish the final draft of my short #Pendragon campaign ("Friends to Friends, Enemies to Enemies"). I still need to add more art to the final chapter, proof read the whole thing (no small task!), and eventually translate it to Spanish.

Tras un tiempo bloqueado por trabajo, la vida, la salud, los viajes... he vuelto a ponerme con mis proyectos de rol. He fusionado dos, para hacerme la vida más sencilla (o no, que ya veremos...) y retomado la mini-campaña de Pendragón o, mejor dicho, vuelto a sentirme a gusto con lo que tenía.

"The Boroughs" has this scene where the main characters face danger scared, carrying a hammer, a kitchen knife, and a gun with three bullets left. That's the exact vibe I had in mind for my Call of Cthulhu "The Hare, the Witch, and the Boxer". Hardly heroic stuff. I loved it, totally my thing.

Desconozco los otros, pero el pdf de Tales of Argosa por menos de €7 me parece muy bien. A mí me gustó. Vieja escuela y esas cosas.

Estaré unos días en Madrid por trabajo. La agenda está ya apretada, pero algo de tiempo tengo el 3 de Junio por la tarde (Miércoles), y el 5 de Junio (Viernes). Si a alguien le apetece tomarse un café / té / caña y vernos en persona, me haría ilusión. Ya me contáis.

He estado organizando notas manuscritas de partidas y proyectos de #lodelrol que tengo aparcados. Cosas que esbozas cuando te surge la idea; en el trabajo, en casa de los suegros, etc. Las guardo en una carpeta con la mejor intención pero luego suelen acabar en eso, solo buenas intenciones.
