The skipping caught him off guard as he started getting dragged behind her. Though, with a smile he caught up by jogging alongside her. William used his talents and abilities to fix minor broken items, heal injuries, clean out chimneys, and even dispose of a giant rodent or two.
"Ooooh, helping the good people! Let's go, Let's go!" She skipped beside him, arm wrapped around his left side.
"Just making my rounds. I go through the town and see what services I can provide the townsfolk. I know a good bit of magic and I try to use it to make their lives easier." "Would you like to join me? If not, that's okay. We can meet elsewhere."
He's hopeful here. Happier. She'll do what she can to protect that. "Well, then. What were you doing beforehand?"
The young man nodded excitedly. "I'd be delighted." His smile is bright, unmarred by whatever happened to him to make him more dour in the future.
"We were friends, yes. I'm quite content on becoming friends again, if that's to your comrfort?"
He awkwardly retracts his hand, using it to adjust his unruly hair. "I agree...it's very odd." "Were we...close?" He asked curiously "I don't mean to know the future but...if we were, perhaps we could be friends again? Or...continue to be friends in your case...heh."
A nod. "Sadako. It's rare to see time travel or regression become a factor, but..."
"When I was older. Hmmm..." the young man put his finger to his chin, just like he'd done when he was older "I mean...stranger things have happened I'm sure. Eh...either way. A pleasure to meet you for the first time, again hehe." He smiled and held out his hand. "William, but you know that heh.."
"Y-Yes, we knew each other for a time. When you were older. Perhaps I came at a different time?" She tilts her head.
"Different? Younger?" He looked down at himself, touching his body and feeling his face. "I'm not sure what you mean Miss. Have we met before?" His head tilted to the side slightly as he looked at her curiously, genuinely unaware as to who she was or their relationship. "C-Cute...?"
"O-Oh. Hello." She admired his look. "You look different, William. Younger! How cute."
Finding William was easy. The town had much news about him about how he was helping the town with monster problems, making quick repairs to broken furniture, tools, and even accessories. The issue however is upon finding him, William was 20+ years younger and didn't recognize her. "Uh...hello?"
It had been 5 years. As Sadako returns to blend into the daily life of the local town, she takes note of the changes and listens for anything concerning William and his whereabouts...

"Not necessarily. If they're not keen on you practicing agriculture, they'd be surprised at you growing it on your own. Which of course is more special than simply buying them."
“But then it wouldn’t be a surprise, right? Surprises are part of the gift-giving thing, I think.” She nodded attentively, committing his advice to memory. “I see… then I will have to decide on a flower, and then learn how to grow it.”
"You could also ask her don't you think?" It made sense to him at least "I honestly don't know... every flower is different. Some need more sunlight, others need very little. The common thing is water and good soil."
“What is her favorite flower…” Ceannas grabbed another book, beginning to flip through it as quickly as her paws would let her. “Fuck, I don’t know… i’ll just guess then.” “so how do you recommend making flowers grow?”
Oh! It's like that then! "Uh...yeah! I'm sure it could have that effect if what you grow is something they love in particular. Like their favorite flower and such."
“Hmmmm… hmmm… would it count for courtship things?” She asked, cupping her chin with a paw as she thought She was having some ideas
"I'm sure they'd appreciate whatever you cultivate. If a friend of mine engaged in an activity I love at any level, it'd make me super happy." He smiled to her. "I'm sure there are things you can grow in your cave too."
“I don’t know what I would grow for her, I just know she likes plants.” She answered, head tilting a bit. “I want to make sure the ground around here is good for growing things. Well. The part that’s not on the mountain. And when it isn’t snowing.”
"Oh... well that's nice. I know a little bit about agriculture, but that's just because i grew up on a farm." "Do you want to grow something for your friend?"
“It is something about growing plants!” She answered, voice excited and bright as she held it up to where he could see the cover. It was a book on agriculture. “It will not help me much, I think, but there are some farmers nearby and an elf I like that likes plants, so I wanted to learn about it.”
After cooking he cut it into easy to eat "fingers" While nommimg, he'd get curious and get closer to her. "Uh... whatcha reading...?"
It wasn’t too hard to find a suitable piece, it seems she’d started at one side and been working her way to the other. As for Ceannas herself, she had gotten distracted by a book, reading it while she gave him time to eat
"Ah, don't mind if i do." He walks up to the corpse and looks for an unchewed piece of meat to slice off for himself. He sets up a little spit to roast his dinner. He's quiet for a bit, shooting glances to his host.
There was the corpse of a warg, well, what was left of most of a warg, anyways. No doubt her dinner. Her ‘bed’ lay a bit farther in, a mass of shed feathers covered over with sheets, curtains, and blankets. “I’m sure it will be fine as long as you behave. Salted warg?” She offered, gesturing to -
"Thank you, your hospitality won't be forgotten." He bowed his head, but kept her in his eyesight. He's aware of how dangerous her species can be. He approached cautiously, joining her around the bend. "If my presence becomes a burden, please let me know..."
“Sure, come on in. I was just finishing my dinner so you may as well come keep me company.” She gestured with a large paw before disappearing back around the bend. Part of what made manticores so dangerous was that they were sapient and generally of human intelligence. But that did also mean they-
Prioritizing? No. Taking note? Yes. "Erm...h-hi there... I'm sorry to intrude but uh..." he gulps "Would it be okay if I took shelter in your cave? I promise to keep to myself. You won't even know I'm here." He managed a pensive smile. Manticores are dangerous, let alone an intelligent one.
The singing stopped, and a /large/ shadow was cast as the occupant moved towards the entrance. A human-ish face came into view, sticking around the next major bend in the cave. Bright green feline eyes, and pointed cat ears sticking up from the top of her head. Ceannas blinked, staring at him -
"Oooo..." He's interested in the books, perhaps the owner is friendly. "Hello?" He calls out "I was...lost outside and saw your cave! I hope you don't mind!" He sounds timid, though that might just be because he's freezing to death.
The interior took several turns, but once past the reach of the weather, the furnishings began. A complete mismatch and scattered assortment of furniture and decorations were position in some vague semblance of order. Gaudy bits of decor, books, really there was little logic to it. The lighting-
No way someone lives up here. Even so, in his desperation William rushed up the mountain with the last of his strength. He hides around the edge of the cavemouth, peeking inside to get some intel on the interior.
What good(?) fortune for him! There is indeed a cave, with flickering lights coming from within, along with a beautiful voice humming a pleasant tune.
Trudging up a blistering cold mountain in the midst of a blizzard no less. His hood is held tightly over his head, doing his best to stop his cloak from being ripped off his person. "S-so cold...there must be a cave somewhere..."
Pulling the petals off a flower he plucked from the roadside. He's sitting on a dilapidated stone fence as he does so while mumbling to himself.
