If you’re a Pennsylvania student who was unenrolled from Howard University before your freshman year this fall, we’re here to help.
Governor Josh Shapiro
@governor.pa.gov
48th Governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
We’ve brought Democrats and Republicans together to cut taxes TEN different times, delivering BILLIONS of dollars in savings for Pennsylvanians.
Here in Pennsylvania, we’re investing in all pathways to success, whether that includes going to college or not. That’s why we’ve…
Abandoned wells pollute our air and waterways, threatening the health of our families, farms, and communities. We've taken action and plugged over 400 wells in the last 3.5 years — more than the previous 11 years combined.
Pennsylvania just jumped FOUR spots on CNBC’s Top States for Business rankings — that’s the highest we’ve been ranked in 15 years AND the best ranking of any Northeast state. What we’re doing to grow our economy and create new jobs is working. This is proof.
For years, Pennsylvanians like Cheryl have been advocating for a cost of living adjustment to ensure pensions keep up with inflation for state retirees who retired before 2001 — firefighters, cops, teachers, and public servants who haven’t seen their pensions increase in over 25 years.
Pennsylvania’s economic resurgence is real — and we’re not slowing down.
This Saturday, we’re making history at Subaru Park with the inaugural Women’s Lacrosse League Championship. 🥍
ANOTHER MAJOR PRIVATE SECTOR INVESTMENT SECURED ⬇️ Dozens of new jobs are coming to Armstrong County after we secured Brunk Industries’ $31.7 million investment to expand their manufacturing business in Armstrong County.
Under my Administration, Pennsylvania has seen record economic growth. We aren’t just competing for major deals again — we’re winning them. As a result, we were ranked one of the top states in the Northeast for regional economic competitiveness. And there’s more to come.
🚨Pennsylvania is ranked one of the BEST states in the nation to start a business. That’s a direct result of the work we’ve done to slash red tape, cut taxes, and grow our workforce. This is how we create real opportunity in communities across our Commonwealth.
Pennsylvania’s young farmers are proving that agriculture isn’t a thing of the past — it’s key to our future.
With the budget I just signed into law, we’re doubling down on our support for Pennsylvania’s 600,000 farmers and ag producers:
Our work to attract new business, create more jobs, and cut red tape is working. As a result, Pennsylvania is the ONLY growing economy in the Northeast. And we’re not slowing down.
Once again, Donald Trump and RFK Jr. are screwing around with the childhood vaccine schedule — ignoring decades of science, sowing chaos and confusion, and spreading dangerous misinformation that put kids and families at risk.
BREAKING: President Trump to sign an executive order calling for spacing out childhood shots, among other changes to vaccine recommendations.
This report confirms what we knew to be true: that bringing the NFL Draft to Pittsburgh would deliver major returns. Hundreds of thousands of fans and business leaders got to see for themselves all the Steel City has to offer — and $177 MILLION poured into the region as a result.
Pennsylvania has become a national leader in economic development. Our small businesses are a big part of that success. Small businesses are the beating hearts of our communities — and major drivers in our local economies.
Pennsylvania is on the rise. GE Vernova’s $166 million investment in Washington County is just the latest proof point. As a result of their investment, we’ll create more power AND more energy here in Western PA — which means more freedom and more opportunity.
FACT: Pennsylvania is home to 48,800 farms. FACT: Nearly 600,000 Pennsylvanians work in agriculture. FACT: Agriculture contributes $132 billion to our Commonwealth’s economy every year.
I’ll stand up to anyone who tries to rip away a woman’s freedom to her own reproductive health care decisions — that includes the President of the United States.
Access to high-quality child care not only sets our kids up for success, it also allows parents to continue pursuing their careers and providing for their families.
Every Pennsylvanian deserves to get the mental health support that they need. That's why, over the last 3.5 years, we've expanded mental health resources in our counties, schools, and crisis centers.
Expanding Pennsylvania's workforce has been one of my key priorities as Governor.
We just secured funding for FOUR new PA State Police cadet classes — for a total of 16 State Police cadet classes we’ve funded since the day I took office.
BREAKING: We just won in court AGAIN to protect thousands of Pennsylvanians from being kicked out of their homes.
Since I took office, we’ve more than DOUBLED state funding for violence prevention programs. And the budget I just signed includes another $62 million for these programs through the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency — including an additional $11.5 million for BOOST.
As a result of our historic investments in economic development, we’ve created more than 25,000 new jobs and brought over $41 billion in private sector investment to Pennsylvania — more than the previous 15 years combined.
Craig is one of the many incredible Crisis Counselors who answer calls across Pennsylvania’s fourteen 988 call centers. They do important work — and they deserve our support.
The upgrades we’ve made to over 1,700 traffic signals across our Commonwealth have made a huge difference on our roads, helping Pennsylvanians get where they need to go safely and on time. That’s why we just secured another $38 million across 86 municipalities to improve even more.
